Doculabs’ process automation practice focuses on assisting enterprises with designing next-generation processes that leverage digital capabilities such as e-signature, artificial intelligence, character recognition, and robotics. We work to develop a strategic roadmap and business case to help you reach your desired future state. Our focus is on customer-facing processes, streamlining, and automating tasks such as capturing client information and supporting documentation, generating correspondence and notifications, and ensuring record keeping is compliant.
As the industry experts in process management since 1995 with the publication of the industry’s first software benchmark, we help clients successfully migrate from older process automation platforms such as IBM, DST, Sungard, and many homegrown platforms, to newer tools such as Pegasystems, Appian, and Camunda.
Accelerate Migrations with Process Mining
Process mining capabilities have been used for a number of years in the enterprise resource planning market to examine procure-to-pay and receivables processes within the financial function to impact cashflow.
But Doculabs is the first consultancy to use these same process mining capabilities to examine customer-facing processes like client onboarding, claims adjudication, and disbursements, such as hardship withdrawals from a 401k.
Doculabs Helps Clients:
Diagnose the effectiveness of a process to determine whether to move a process “as-is” or re-engineer it. Determine the scope and breadth of variation in a process; understand latencies and dependencies; identify unused nodes and queues.
Find identical or similar processes as candidates for consolidation. Enable side-by-side comparisons of item-type/sub-type processes in the content management system.
Auto-generate BPMN process maps for existing workflows. Assist business and technology teams in visualizing and understanding current state. If the processes can be migrated “as-is,” the BPMN models can be imported into the target workflow system (Pegasystems, Appian, Camunda) to generate executable code.
Compare old and new processes to determine the resulting impact on cost and value. Using standard rates for touches and tasks, business units can conduct comparisons of processes in both in the old and new systems early in their migrations to assist with multi-year budget forecasting.
Accelerate Compliance sign-off on migrated processes. Processes can be compared to standardized “templates” (within a pre-built library) for conformance. With visual comparisons, Compliance can more effectively review and sign off.
